Wish List: As of 3.1, the way Wish List items are decided has changed. Instead of subitting the requested item to Manaia via in-game mail or the website mail, the loot order will now be: Wish List, Main, Secondary, Off. This is a silent system to keep the requests anonymous, the Loot Council will then decide who the item will go to - this part of the Wish List system did not change. The Loot Council may opt for players to /roll, though this should not be assumed the only way that Wish Lists are awarded.
Pre-3.1 raids: We will no longer officially be running Naxxramas or The Obsidian Sanctum 10m or 25m. All pre-existing Wish List items from these zones will be removed from the Wish List tab on the website and will follow the new Wish List rules. Eye of Eternity will be the first raid ran on Tuesdays as that is a quick raid and still provides high iLevel rewards. Vault of Archavon will still be ran, the tier8 boss will be killed first and then the tier7 boss.
Raid balance: Raid balancing will be looked at more closely now, per the Guild Policy, underlings will not be allowed on progression raids unless their role is NEEDED. If you're a dps class and cannot pull 3k dps or higher (situational, fights that hinder dps will not be held to this) then you will be on the low end of the totem pole for raid optimization on progression bosses. Ask other members of your class how they can best optimize their dps/rotations.
Sometimes this is a hardware/latency issue vs a player issue; if this is the case then there may not be much we can do. While we completely empathize with you, we will still have to remove/replace you if it causes wipes.
PvP gear: If PvP gear drops from Vault of Archavon (or anywhere else), be mindful of your guild members and do not roll on it just because you can. If you do not PvP regularly and/or are a PvP casual - please pass on those who do regular PvP/Arenas. The Loot Council does not want to manage/oversee PvP gear, though if loot distribution of this becomes unfair/uncourteous then this may change.
Miscellaneous loot: Fragment of Val'anyr pieces will be looted to Manaia. Runed Orb will be placed in the Guild Bank. They can be purchased for 100g each, only for your main character, only for your main spec. Due to the limited supply of these, it is advised to weigh your options and possible upgrades first before going all out on buying these. Recipes/patterns/etc. will be looted to the Guild's dedicated profession person. These people are also defined in the Guild Policy. Any Book of Glyph Mastery that drops during an official raid will be given to the Guild Scribe - as these are not BoP they will still be defaulted to the Guild Scribe if they are not in that raid.
Guild Image: This isn't a new thing and is posted in the Guild Policies section though it's important enough to stress again. While you are wearing the tag, do NOT intentionally disrespect anyone (this includes Horde!) and do not grief the Alliance. This includes, but not limited to: WoW chat (trade, tells, say, etc.), WoW mail, WoW forums, other guild forums, in-game actions (deliberately ruining achievement runs, etc). The officers have been whispered on multiple occasions regarding this and it is not tolerated, re-read the Guild Policy if you are unfamiliar with disciplinary actions. |
